Education
The Faculty of Literature was established in 1957 with two undergraduate programmes: Arabic Language and Literature and Islamic History and Civilisation. In 2002, the college became the College of Arts and Humanities with three humanities-related undergraduate programmes: Translation, Library Science and English Literature, and two more master's programmes in 2012: Islamic History and Culture and Arabic Language and Literature. All study programmes are nationally accredited by BANPT (the National Accreditation Board). However, the Islamic History and Civilisation programme has been recognised by AUN-QA (ASEAN Universities Network - Quality Assurance) in the 2016 assessment translated by.
