Education

The Faculty of Adab was established in 1957 with two undergraduate programs: Arabic Language and Literature, and Islamic History and Civilization. In 2002, the faculty transformed into the Faculty Adab and Humanities with three undergraduate programs related to the humanities; Translation, Library Science, English Literature and two other master’s programs followed in 2012: Islamic History and Culture, and Arabic Language and Literature. All study programs have been nationally accredited by BANPT (National Accreditation Board). Islamic History and Civilization program, however, has been acknowledged by AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance) in 2016 assessment.
