Doctor of Islamic Cultural History

To become an internationally reputable Islamic Civilization History Study Program in the field of Islamic and Indonesian-based Humanities Sciences.

1.  Organizing Islamic Civilization History education creatively and innovatively in scientific, Islamic, and Indonesian development.
2.  Conducting research in the field of History of Islamic Civilization that excels at the global level for scientific development, social transformation, and increasing the nation's competitiveness.
3.  Organizing proactive community service to the needs of the community that is relevant to the field of History of Islamic Civilization.
4.  Building cooperation with various national and international institutions to improve the quality of education, research, and community service relevant to the field of History of Islamic Civilization.
5.  Organizing higher education governance in a professional, accountable, and transparent organizational culture.

 

Graduate Learning Achievements

  1. Applying and developing science in the field of the history of Islamic Civilization through scientific reasoning and research based on logical, critical and systematic thinking;
  2. Developing knowledge in the field of the history of Islamic Civilization through scientific research, or producing work compiled in the form of a dissertation
  3. Publish research results in the field of History of Islamic Civilization in accredited scientific journals.
  4. Compile and communicate ideas and arguments that can be accounted for scientifically and ethically academically, through various forms of media to the public, especially the academic community
  5. Document, store, audit, secure and rediscover research data for further research purposes
  6. Increasing independent learning capacity
  7. Develop and maintain networks with colleagues within broader research institutions and communities.
  8. Carrying out research in the field of history of Islamic Civilization based on multidisciplinary research, both independently and in collaboration with other institutions
  9. Identify essential issues in the field of the history of Islamic Civilization and position them into a research map.

  1. Able to explain and examine the theories and applications of the History of Islamic Civilization in scientific development and participate in solving socio-religious problems in real life
  2. Able to develop methods and analysis according to research activities for independent dissertation writing and scientific development.

  1. Uphold Islamic values which include devotion to God YMR, respect for human values, internalization of values and norms.
  2. Upholding Indonesian and societal values includes respect for diversity, nationalism and state responsibility, and improving social life, cooperation, concern for others, the nation and the state based on Pancasila.
  3. Uphold academic ethical values which include honesty and academic freedom and academic autonomy.

  1. Develop knowledge, technology and/or art in their scientific field or professional practice through research, to produce scientific publications published in journals of national and international reputation;
  2. Solving science, technology and/or art problems in their scientific fields through an inter or multidisciplinary approach.
  3. Manage research and development on the History of Islamic Civilization which is beneficial to society and science, and has received national and international recognition.
