Women’s Hands “She Creates, She Grows”: DEMA FAH UIN Jakarta Holds a Creative Workshop for Female Students

South Tangerang, FAH Online News – The Student Executive Board (DEMA) of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, organized the Tangan Perempuan event themed “She Creates, She Grows” on Wednesday (20/05/2026) at the 2nd Floor Courtyard of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. This event served as a creative space for female students to develop their handicraft skills through a flower holder-making workshop, while also promoting women’s empowerment within the campus environment.

Carrying the spirit of creativity and self-development, the event was designed not merely as an arts and crafts activity, but also as a platform to enhance self-confidence, productivity, and students’ ability to explore their potential through meaningful and practical creations.

The workshop, which took place from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM WIB, received enthusiastic participation from female students of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities at UIN Jakarta. The series of activities began with participant registration and an opening session by the Master of Ceremony (MC), followed by remarks from the Chief Organizer and the Head of the Women’s Empowerment Ministry of DEMA FAH.

Following the opening session, participants received direct guidance and demonstrations on flower holder-making techniques from the facilitator. The atmosphere became lively, interactive, and warm as participants began practicing the crafting process independently with assistance from the organizing committee.

All materials and equipment were provided by the committee to ensure participants’ comfort throughout the workshop. This allowed participants to focus more on the learning process, idea exploration, and creativity development in producing their best works.

Through the Tangan Perempuan program, DEMA FAH UIN Jakarta hopes that participants will not only gain new experiences in handicrafts but also develop a spirit of creativity, independence, and confidence to continuously enhance their potential in various fields. The skills gained from this activity are expected to become an initial step for female students to create productive and innovative opportunities in the future.
