Turning on Spirit Kartini: Passed on Time in the Master's Program in Islamic History and Culture (MSKI)
South Tangerang, FAH News Online - On Monday, April 21 2025, which coincides with the commemoration of Kartini Day, the Master of History and Islamic Culture (MSKI) Study Program, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held two exams as a condition for obtaining a master's degree. The exam consists of the Thesis Exam followed by Harun Arrasyid and the Work in Progress (WIP) Exam followed by Gita Safitri. These two students managed to achieve satisfactory results, Harun graduated with a Masters in Humanities (M.Hum) degree, while Gita passed the WIP exam and was able to continue to the next exam stage.
On that day, as instructed by Dr. Ade Abdul Hak as Dean of FAH, students and lecturers wear traditional regional clothes as a form of appreciation and inspiration for Mrs. Kartini's services in advancing the level of higher education. Mrs. Kartini taught that not only can education be obtained by men, but women have the same right to think, learn and develop without restrictions.
Mrs. Kartini's struggle values are a source of strength to this day to continue fighting in the academic world, facing challenges with determination and self-confidence. Just as trying to graduate on time in this master's program is not only about discipline and time management, but also a reflection of Mrs. Kartini's tireless spirit in fighting for dreams.
Completing master's studies on time is a real manifestation of Mrs. Kartini's enthusiasm which is a commitment to remain steadfast even though the steep road stretches out. Behind this success, there is dedication, perseverance and courage to survive a long and dynamic process. Graduating on time is not just an academic achievement, but a symbol of success in reviving Kartini's spirit, namely becoming a person who is empowered, knowledgeable, and never tires of fighting for her dreams.
