Jakarta, FAH Online News – The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has once again marked a significant academic achievement with the appointment of a new Full Professor. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia No. 040860/MA/KP.07.6/05/2026, Prof. Dr. Zubair, M.Ag. has officially been promoted to the academic rank of Full Professor in the field of the Linguistics of Islamic Law.

Prof. Dr. Zubair, M.Ag. serves as a faculty member in both the Undergraduate (Bachelor's) and Master's Programs in Arabic Language and Literature at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. His academic expertise integrates Arabic linguistic studies with the rich tradition of Islamic law, thereby strengthening interdisciplinary scholarship that is highly relevant to the evolving landscape of contemporary Islamic studies.

This appointment represents an important milestone in enhancing the academic capacity of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, particularly in the fields of Arabic language, linguistics, and Islamic legal studies. The presence of Prof. Dr. Zubair as a Full Professor is expected to further foster a strong research culture, improve the quality of internationally recognized scholarly publications, and expand the Faculty's contribution to the advancement of knowledge at both the national and international levels.

The Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., S.S., M.Hum., CIQnR, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for this remarkable achievement. According to him, the appointment of a new Full Professor reflects years of dedication to fulfilling the Tri Dharma of Higher Education—education, research, and community service—and serves as a renewed source of energy in strengthening the Faculty's academic reputation.
