The Celebration of Indonesia's 79th Independence Day at Faculty of Adab and Humanities UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta
Jakarta - In commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta organized a series of exciting and joyful competitions on Monday, August 19, 2024. This activity was held on the 3rd floor of the FAH building, involving the entire academic community, ranging from deans, lecturers, education personnel, to staff.
The competitions held aim to strengthen interaction and togetherness in the faculty environment. The various competitions held included eating crackers, inserting thread into a needle, balloon dancing, and singing competitions. The enthusiasm of the participants was very high, making the atmosphere more lively.
The excitement also radiated from the many prizes provided as well as the joint lunch event held with mutual cooperation from all elements of the faculty, ranging from expert assistant lecturers to professors. The harmony in the festivity of this celebration was so pronounced.
Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, M.Hum., said that this activity aims not only to celebrate Independence Day, but also to strengthen the relationship between lecturers and faculty staff. “We hope that the spirit of togetherness established through this competition can be maintained, both in academic and non-academic activities in the future,” he said.
The event was closed by awarding prizes to the winners, which were handed over by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ida Farida, MLIS and lecturer representative, Yeni Ratna Yuningsih, S.Ag., M.A., Ph.D. These awards were given as a form of appreciation for the active participation of the participants.
Through this activity, the atmosphere of intimacy and the spirit of unity were clearly visible among lecturers and staff. Hopefully, this sense of togetherness can further strengthen family ties within the FAH, as well as make this Independence Day celebration even more meaningful. The activity was closed with a group photo session, both participants and winners of the competition.
