The 132nd Judicium of Faculty of Adab and Humanities UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta "Realizing Advanced Generation towards Global Recognition"
Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the Abdul Ghani theater room on the 5th floor, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities held the 132nd graduation ceremony for undergraduate graduates from five study programs and masters from two study programs with a total of 164 prospective graduates. This judicium marks the graduation of prospective alumni who have successfully completed their studies well and on time. Beginning with the chanting of the holy verses of the Qur'an and prayer, then the saman dance performance from the students of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities added a festive impression to the judiciary this time.
The Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, M.Hum., CIQnR congratulated and gave a message in his speech to prospective graduates to always maintain the spirit in accordance with the vision and mission of the faculty after graduation, conduct scientific updates, and participate in tracer studies so that they continue to contribute to the study program and UIN Jakarta campus.
In this activity, Vice Dean II Dr. Siti Amsariah, M.Ag and Vice Dean III Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, Ph.D mentioned one by one the names of the graduation participants along with the length of study and cumulative achievement index (GPA). Based on the Decree of the Dean of FAH, the best graduates at the study program and faculty levels were obtained. The best graduates at the Islamic History and Civilization study program level are Syifa Arikah Zalfa, Arabic Language and Literature is sister Dessy Noer Aida, sister Riyantika Zahara from Tarjamah, sister Zahra Salimah from English Language and Literature, and from Library Science is sister Hilya Maylaffayza as well as being confirmed as the best graduate of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities at the 132nd graduation.
Sister Hilya Maylaffayza gave a speech in front of all the graduation participants and the leadership of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. She thanked all the lecturers who had provided support on behalf of the graduation participants. She was also very inspired by the lecturers while making journals or filling in material at faculty activities. Today is not the end of the struggle and always remember to anyone who has inspired and not forget to always be a person who should be an inspiration for others who are struggling, he said.
In this activity, the resource person Indra Kurniawan, S.Hum., M.Si provided material in accordance with the theme and his experience as a Junior Expert Diplomat at the Directorate of Europe II of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was accompanied by a moderator from the Lecturer of History and Islamic Civilization, Faizal Arifin, M.Hum. The speakers and moderators this time were alumni of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities who have proven themselves as an advanced generation in global recognition.
