The event, which began at 09:00 WIB, served as an important moment to formulate the organization’s direction while strengthening SEMA’s strategic role as a supervisory body within the faculty.
The event opened solemnly with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Hafidz Muharrom, followed by the singing of Indonesia Raya and the UIN Hymn led by Afifah Mutiya Salwa. This formal and meaningful atmosphere set a strong tone for the entire activity.
In his remarks, the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Juniarko, emphasized that the Work Meeting was not merely a routine agenda, but a strategic forum for all members to discuss, align visions, and determine work programs for the upcoming period.
“This work meeting is the first step in building the spirit to carry out organizational responsibilities in the future,” he stated.
Similarly, the Chairperson of SEMA FAH 2026, Fazkia Cahya Azzahra, highlighted the importance of SEMA’s role as a student legislative body responsible for supervising and monitoring all student organizations (ORMAWA) under the Faculty, including Autonomous Organizations (LO) and Semi-Autonomous Organizations (LSO).
She also expressed optimism despite the smaller number of members compared to previous years.
“We remain confident that SEMA FAH 2026 can deliver meaningful contributions and a positive impact for students,” she said.
The event was officially opened by the Head of Administrative Affairs of FAH, Iwan Kurniawan, S.Pd., M.Si., who stated that being part of SEMA is a mandate that must be carried out with dedication and responsibility. He also noted that student organizations serve as an important platform for developing skills in preparation for the professional world.
Entering the main session, the meeting was led by the Temporary Presidium and later continued by the Permanent Presidium. The session proceeded dynamically and interactively. Each board member presented their proposed work programs, while participants actively contributed questions, feedback, and constructive input.
The intensive discussions resulted in the official approval of all SEMA FAH work programs for one term at 11:15 WIB, marking a clear and structured organizational direction ready to be implemented.
As the closing, the MC resumed the event, followed by a prayer led by Hidayat. Shortly after, the entire series of the 2026 SEMA FAH Work Meeting officially concluded. Beyond being a planning forum, this meeting also served as a collective learning space to strengthen the commitment of members in carrying out their supervisory roles professionally and responsibly.
With well-structured programs in place, SEMA FAH 2026 is expected to become a leading force in fostering transparent, accountable, and impactful student governance within the Faculty of Adab and Humanities.
