Jakarta, FAH News Online – The Autonomous Institute of the Center for Archival Studies (PUSAKA), Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held an Archives Discussion (DISKUSIP) activity on Wednesday, November 12 2025 at the FAH UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta environment. This activity is on the agenda of PUSAKA's first archives for the 2025–2026 period.

Carrying the theme “Non-Textual Dynamic Archive Management (Electronic Archives)”, this event aims to increase the understanding of PUSAKA members regarding the importance of dynamic archive management, especially in the form of electronic and digital archives. It is hoped that this activity will help members to be able to implement digital archival practices both during their work and in the future.

The series of events began with an official opening by the presenter, namely Fathan Rangga Ifari. Next, the activity continued with singing the songs Indonesia Raya and the UIN Jakarta Hymn led by the conductor, as well as remarks from the Chief Executive, Muhammad Tangguh Arkiansyah and the General Chair of PUSAKA, Diva Nazva Savitri.

Entering the core event hosted by the moderator, Bagas Wicaksono by introducing the resource person, namely Mrs. Hikmah Irfaniah, M.Hum., who delivered material regarding the implementation of digital archive management. In his presentation, he explained in general terms the importance of structured digital archive management that is in accordance with technological developments.

The question and answer session was interactive with great enthusiasm from the participants. They raised various questions surrounding the implementation of digital archives and the constraints encountered in practice. Resource persons provide responses and solutions that can be applied in the work and organizational environment.

The event was then followed by closing prayers, presentation of certificates to the presenters, as well as a joint documentation session. The activities were officially closed by the MC. Through this discussion, participants are expected to gain a new understanding of digital records management and be able to effectively implement it in the future.
