South Tangerang, FAH Online News - The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) continues to strive to increase the comfort of the academic community by presenting new facilities in the form of faculty canteens. Starting from October 28 2025, the canteen located in this faculty strategic area has started to be fully operational from 08.00 to 17.30 WIB and is busy with students.

The presence of this canteen is an answer to the need for representative communal areas and eating places in the faculty environment. Previously, this area was a parking lot which has now been transformed into a comfortable open space with neatly arranged wooden tables and chairs.

The positive response from students, in a live interview at the location, Nur Muhammad Fikri, a student in the 9th semester (ninth) Islamic History and Civilization study program, expressed his joy at the operation of this canteen. "In the past, this was just a parking lot, but since there was a canteen it feels more comfortable for casual meetings or just chatting lightly," said Fikri. He also added that in terms of price, the menu offered is very friendly to students' pockets. "The food is suitable for students' pockets, not burdensome," he added.

The facilities and comfort of this new canteen offer a semi-open atmosphere that allows air circulation to run well, making it an ideal place not only for meals, but also for academic discussions outside the classroom. Various menu options are available, ranging from heavy meals to snacks, with very affordable price ranges between IDR 5,000 to IDR 20,000. To facilitate transactions, this canteen serves cash (cash) and non-cash payments via QRIS.

Since starting operations at the end of October, this facility has helped students access their consumption needs more easily without having to leave the campus environment, so that rest periods can be used more efficiently, in order to maintain order, this canteen also implements a self-service system, where students are expected to be able to tidy up their eating place independently.

Even though a formal inauguration ceremony has not yet been held, student enthusiasm shows that the presence of this canteen is highly anticipated. It is hoped that the entire FAH academic community can work together to maintain the cleanliness and comfort of these new facilities for the sake of sustainable benefits for future generations.
