South Tangerang, FAH Online News — ISEATRAC delegates participated in a campus tour of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University (UIN) Jakarta alongside members of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) academic community and the SEASREP Foundation on Monday, July 20, 2026.

The activity was part of a series of international student visits organized through the SEASREP Foundation program. The program brought together student delegates from the Philippines and Japan to gain a closer understanding of UIN Jakarta’s academic environment and facilities.

The delegation began its journey from the Faculty of Adab and Humanities building and proceeded to UIN Jakarta’s main campus area. Accompanied by UIN Jakarta Student Ambassadors and members of the FAH academic community, the delegates toured the campus aboard an electric bus.

The tour began at the Rectorate Building, continued through several areas and facilities across the campus, and concluded at the UIN Jakarta Library Building.

Upon arriving at the library, the delegates attended an introductory session on the library’s services and facilities delivered by its management team. The group was then guided through the library areas located on the first to seventh floors by members of the UIN Jakarta Library staff.

One of the delegates from the Philippines, Rafael Sandoy, expressed his delight at having the opportunity to visit UIN Jakarta. He said that he gained many new experiences and insights during the campus tour.

“When we arrived on campus, we were welcomed and invited to tour the campus aboard an electric bus. It was a new experience for me because our campus in the Philippines is not very large and can be explored on foot,” Rafael said.

He also expressed his admiration for UIN Jakarta’s library facilities.

“One of the things that impressed me the most was the library. The library building has 11 floors, which was remarkable for us because university libraries in the Philippines generally have only two floors. The library also has a very extensive collection of books,” he added.

Through this activity, students from various Asian countries are expected to gain new perspectives on Indonesia’s educational environment and academic life. The visit also provided UIN Jakarta with an opportunity to expand its international network and introduce the university to students from universities across Asia.
