HIMLA: ARABIC DISCUSSION IN PARE
Pare, Kediri, -- Semester holidays are a moment that all students have been waiting for, as well as students at Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University, Jakarta. Many of the odd semester holidays this time are students who take advantage of their holidays in their own way, some fill their holidays by returning home (for students who have migrated), some are filled with organizational activities, some even take advantage of their holidays by continuing to study, just like friends from Halaqah ‘Ilmiyah li Muhibbil Lughah al-Arabiyah (HIMLA). There are several HIMLA members who choose to spend their holiday time with courses in Pare, Kediri to further explore the materials that have been and will be studied on campus.
There are 6 HIMLA members and 3 non-HIMLA members but from the Arabic Language and Literature department who study Arabic and English at various institutions in Pare, including the Naatiq institution, al-Azhar, Kampung Buku Kuning, and the Kind English Course. They are: Salman, Dani, Fari, Ghina, Lulu’, Daffa, Yasir, Isfina, and Aisyatun.
On Sunday night, precisely on January 18 2025, they gathered at Tulongrejo field, Kediri to discuss a topic in Arabic. This activity was held on the initiative of one of HIMLA's administrators, Fari, who he thought about gathering them to continue to build relationships and both learn to discuss using Arabic.
They are very enthusiastic in discussing using Arabic because by discussing they can implement the materials they have studied both on campus and at their respective course institutions. This activity takes place from 20.30-23.00 WIB and will be held once a week, namely on Sunday nights.
