Halal Bihalal FAH in the Rectorate Building: Strengthening Friendship and Synergy

Rectorate Building, FAH Online News – Halal bihalal is a typical tradition of Indonesian society which continues to be preserved after the Eid al-Fitr celebration. In the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), halal bihalal is interpreted as the activity of forgiving each other after performing the Ramadan fast, which is generally carried out in an atmosphere of togetherness in a certain place or forum.

More than just tradition, halal bihalal is an important momentum in strengthening kinship relations, both within the family, community and institutions. The values of friendship, togetherness and mutual respect contained therein make this activity relevant and meaningful.

This spirit was realized again by the leadership of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta on the first day of work after the Eid al-Fitr holiday of 1447 H. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the FAH deanery group paid a friendly visit to the Rectorate Building.

The group was led by the Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., SS, M.Hum., together with the Deputy Deans, and attended by Study Program Chairmen and education staff. Their presence was welcomed directly by Chancellor Asep Saepudin Jahar, MA, Ph.D., in a meeting which took place privately in the chancellor's room.

Next, the group continued their visit to the Deputy Chancellor I for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi Kharlie, S.Ag., SH, MH, MA, who welcomed him with warmth and happiness. The visit then continued to the Deputy Chancellor II for General Administration, Prof. Imam Subchi, MA, where the group was greeted with an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and familiarity.

After a series of visits at the Rectorate Building, the group continued their friendship with the General Administration and Personnel Bureau (AUK). Their presence was welcomed directly by the Head of the Bureau, Dr. Nanang Fatchurocman, SH, S.Pd., M.Pd is also a moment of togetherness by enjoying a typical Eid dish in the form of chicken opor in a warm and family-filled atmosphere.

This momentum is not only a place for mutual forgiveness, but also strengthens communication and synergy between faculty and university leaders in carrying out institutional duties and responsibilities.

Through this halal bihalal activity, it is hoped that increasingly harmonious relations will be established and a stronger spirit of collaboration in supporting the progress of the institution. It is hoped that the values of togetherness that are built can become the foundation for creating an academic environment that is inclusive, productive and competitive.
