South Tangerang, FAH News Online – After participating in the entire series of university- and faculty-level PBAK activities for three days, new students of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) took part in the 2026 Departmental PBAK. The activity was held at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities Building on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

The event marked the conclusion of the entire 2026 PBAK series at UIN Jakarta and provided an opportunity for new students to become more familiar with the study programs they will pursue throughout their academic journey at UIN Jakarta.

The activity was divided into five study programs held in five different locations: the Library Science Study Program on the first floor, the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program on the second floor, the Translation Studies Study Program on the third floor, the Islamic History and Civilization Study Program on the fourth floor, and the English Literature Study Program in the Abdul Ghani Theater on the fifth floor of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities Building.

The activity began at 7:00 a.m. and was attended by the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., M.A., M.A., Ph.D., all FAH Heads of Study Programs, all Heads of Study Program Student Associations, FAH Student Executive Council (DEMA) Chairman Muhammad Ibnu Chajar, and the entire organizing committee of the 2026 Departmental PBAK.

In an interview session, Muhammad Rizki Paruhuman, Chairman of the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program Student Association, explained that new students were not only introduced to their study programs but were also provided with materials on entrepreneurship, community service, and other relevant topics.

“Through this PBAK activity, new FAH students are not only introduced to the campus environment, education, and their respective study programs. We also provide them with materials on entrepreneurship and community service so that they can develop broader perspectives when they begin their university studies,” he said.

The activity concluded with the Student Oath-Taking Ceremony, led by Vice Dean III for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., M.A., M.A., Ph.D., accompanied by FAH DEMA Chairman Muhammad Ibnu Chajar and attended by all FAH new students of the 2026 cohort. The event continued with a group photo session for students from each study program and concluded with the departure of the 2026 FAH new students.

The successful implementation of this activity is expected to help new students become more familiar with their chosen study programs and better prepare themselves for their academic life at the university.
