Fakkah Competition 2026 Brings Participants Together for a Live Battle of Ideas and Exciting Challenges
Jakarta, September 23, 2026, FAH Online News — The Fakkah Competition 2026 was officially held on Wednesday (September 23). This national-level competition was organized through a collaboration between HIMLA of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and HMPS BSA. This year, several competitions were held offline, allowing participants to meet and compete directly with one another at the same venue. The two categories held offline were Khitobah and debate. From the beginning of the competition, the atmosphere was already lively. Participants arrived well-prepared and sought to deliver their best performances.
The Khitobah competition was held at the Al-Insaniyat Mosque of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Jakarta. Participants took turns delivering their speeches before the judges. Although some participants appeared nervous during their first appearance, the atmosphere gradually became more relaxed once they began presenting their material. A variety of presentation styles could be seen throughout the competition, ranging from calm and composed delivery to highly expressive performances.
The excitement was also evident in the debate competition, which took place in the FAH UIN Jakarta Dean’s Meeting Room. Participants exchanged views and defended their respective arguments. The debate became increasingly engaging when participants were required to respond directly to arguments presented by their opponents.
One of the Khitobah participants, Muhammad Ilham, said that he was happy to take part in the competition. For him, Fakkah provided a new experience to build confidence while testing the skills he had developed through previous learning.
“What I gained most from participating in the competition was the experience and the courage to perform. So, it’s not just about winning or losing,” Ilham said.
He also explained that he was interested in joining Fakkah because he wanted to try something new and challenge himself. In his view, confidence does not necessarily have to come first; rather, it can grow when someone begins to take the courage to try.
The participants’ enthusiasm was one of the factors that made this year’s Fakkah competition feel different. Some participants were already accustomed to taking part in competitions, while others saw Fakkah as their first opportunity to perform in a competitive setting.
For the participants, the experience gained during the competition certainly did not end when the matches were over. The process of preparing, the nervousness before performing, and the sense of relief after completing their performances all became part of their personal stories throughout Fakkah 2026.
Through this event, Fakkah served not only as a platform for determining winners, but also as a space for participants to step forward, test their abilities, and take home new experiences.
“Having the courage to try today may become the beginning of something greater in the future.”
