FAKKAH 2025 Was Closed in Vibrant Closing Ceremony: Arabic Art Performance and Champion Announcement

Abdul Ghani Theatre, FAH News Online – After a  series of events filled of enthusiasm and creativity, FAKKAH 2025 was officially closed in a vibrant closing ceremony. The event titled “Fannul Kafā’ah wa al-Lughah” or “Art, Ability, and Language” not only showcased the power of Arabic as a medium of expression, but also commemorate the symbolic anniversary of the HIMLA organisation.

The closing ceremony held on Wednesday afternoon, 28 May 2025, at Abdul Ghani Theatre, 5th Floor, was the culmination of all the competitions that had been held. The event started at 3.10 pm and was attended by all HIMLA members and competition participants.

In her speech, Cahya Buana, M.A., as the advisor of HIMLA, delivered an inspiring message. “It’s not about winning or losing, it’s about courage,” she said, underlining the importance of participating in competitions.

Closing Ceremony Highlights

The closing ceremony included the symbolic anniversary of HIMLA, the announcement of the winners of the Arabic competitions, the reading of the works by the champions, and the performance of the first winner. One of the most anticipated segments was the announcement of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd most active members of HIMLA in this period, which was announced as part of the appreciation for members’ loyalty.

Goals and Expectations

The FAKKAH 2025 event was organised as a place to explore and strengthen Arabic language competence through arts and competitions. More than just a competition, FAKKAH is a space for appreciation, talent development, and a means of strengthening the spirit between students who love Arabic.

The committee hopes that this activity can create a new spirit for students to continue and to develop Arabic language skills, both in academic and artistic expressions.

The event was closed with a special performance by the first-place winners, bringing a warm and inspiring impression to all attendees.
