FAH UIN Jakarta Organizes the 133rd Yudisium and Graduation Ceremony with the Theme “Strengthening the Resilient Generation for Indonesia's Future”

Jakarta, August 22, 2024 - The event began with the reading of the holy Qur'an by Muhammad Hilal Al Falah, followed by a prayer led by Hafidz Ilman. The reading of the decision letter regarding the determination of the judiciary for undergraduate and postgraduate graduates for the 2023/2024 academic year was carried out by the Deputy Dean III, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, Ph.D and Deputy Dean II, Dr. Siti Amsariah, M.Ag.

In this graduation, the Arabic Language and Literature (BSA) Study Program graduated 49 students, Islamic History and Culture (SKI) 26 students, Tarjamah 25 students, Library Science 44 students, and English Literature 14 students. The reading of the undergraduate graduation was carried out by the Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, M.Hum., CIQnR and culminated with the announcement of the best graduates.

Maulida Pitriyah from BSA Study Program won the title of the best graduate with a GPA of 3.97, followed by Wafik Azizah from SPI Study Program with a GPA of 3.92, Putri Ayu Inayanti Apriliya from Tarjamah Study Program with a GPA of 3.93, Fathurrahman Saleh from Library Science Study Program with a GPA of 3.94, and Raissa Putri Azzahra from English Literature Study Program with a GPA of 3.81.

Dean of FAH concluded with a message on the importance of responsibility as a graduate of UIN Jakarta. As a graduate to always bring the vision and mission of UIN in everyday life and to be ready to face challenges in the world of work, he said.

As an appreciation of the faculty to its graduates, FAH UIN Jakarta alumni who have been successful in their careers to provide knowledge and experience. She is Mrs. Ida Nurjannah, S.Hum., M.Ed., Al Hafidz. She is an interpreter and translator who graduated from Sudan. Accompanied by Mr. Ahmad Hifni, MA as moderator, Mrs. Ida emphasized the importance of strong personal branding, including the ability to create connections, control the narrative, demonstrate abilities, and expand reach. To compete, the younger generation must be resilient with adaptability, communication skills, critical thinking, and a high work ethic. In building branding, consistency and frequency are key, and should not be limited to one platform. Ibu Ida also reminded them not to be afraid to dream big, keep learning, and take advantage of opportunities. Difficulties are opportunities for growth, while perseverance and creativity are valuable assets. As Chairperson of MES in Sudan and Director of PT Sunthree Tour Indonesia, she also encouraged a change in mindset to overcome insecurity and strengthen determination.
