FAH UIN Jakarta Holds Financial Reporting Assistance Workshop for Student Organizations to Improve Governance

South Tangerang, FAH Online News – The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta organized a Financial Reporting Assistance Workshop for Student Organizations (Ormawa) on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Main Meeting Room, 2nd Floor of FAH. The event was attended by student organization administrators within FAH, particularly chairpersons and treasurers from various organizations.

The speakers in this workshop were members of the Faculty’s financial team, who provided technical guidance regarding financial reporting mechanisms and accountability procedures for student organizations.

This workshop was conducted as an effort to enhance students' understanding and skills in managing administrative and financial reporting in an orderly, transparent, and accountable manner.

In his remarks, the Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, M.A., Ph.D., emphasized that activity reporting is an obligation that must be carried out by every student organization after completing their programs.

“Activity reporting is very important. All student organizations are required to prepare accountability reports after completing their activities as a form of organizational accountability,” he stated.

He also added that one of the main requirements for an accountability report (LPJ) to be signed by the Vice Dean III is the existence of a statement letter confirming that the activity has been carried out, along with proof of publication on the faculty’s official website.

Meanwhile, the Vice Dean II for General Administration, Dr. Siti Amsariah, M.Ag., emphasized that all reporting processes and fund disbursements must follow the applicable administrative procedures within the faculty.

“All reporting must follow a structured administrative flow. The TOR document must first be submitted to the general affairs office, then forwarded to the Dean for disposition to the Vice Dean II, and subsequently submitted to the finance department for the fund disbursement process. All student organizations must comply with this procedure in an orderly manner,” she explained.

During the session, participants received technical presentations from the faculty’s administrative and financial management team. Deasy Merida Kusumaningsih, S.T., from the planning division, explained the technical aspects of preparing and reporting activities, while financial verifier Tony Kurniawan, S.E., outlined the required documentation for reporting administration.

Additionally, treasurer Aida Anul Warda, S.Pd., provided guidance on the mechanism for submitting accountability reports (SPJ) and the administrative procedures that must be followed by each student organization.

Through this activity, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities hopes that all student organizations within FAH will gain a better understanding of professional administrative and financial governance and be able to implement their programs with principles of transparency, accountability, and compliance with established procedures.
