FAH Online News, Songkhla, July 19, 2026 – The International Student Mobility (ISM) 2026 program organized by the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continued with an academic visit to Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand. During this visit, the FAH delegation was officially welcomed by the management of the KHUNYING LONG ATHAKRAVISUNTHORN Learning Resources Center (Khunying Long Library), one of the main learning and library service centers at Prince of Songkla University.

The activity began with a welcoming session and an introduction to the library’s service system, academic collections, and various learning and research support facilities available at PSU. The delegation was then invited to tour the facilities and directly observe reading areas, collaborative learning spaces, digital facilities, multimedia rooms, and various services that support academic activities for students and researchers.

This visit provided participants with new insights into the management of modern libraries as knowledge hubs that not only provide scientific collections but also serve as spaces for collaboration, innovation, and the development of academic literacy. The experience became a valuable reference, particularly for students of the Library Science Program, while also broadening all participants’ perspectives on the international higher education ecosystem.

As a symbol of friendship and academic cultural exchange, the FAH UIN Jakarta delegation presented a souvenir in the form of a novel written by student Najwa Lathiifah Saepudin to the Khunying Long Library. The presentation of this work represented an appreciation as well as an effort to introduce the creativity of UIN Jakarta students to the international academic community. It is hoped that the collection will become a bridge to introduce Indonesian literary heritage to the academic community of Prince of Songkla University.

The visit to Prince of Songkla University further reaffirmed the commitment of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to developing international networks through academic cooperation, knowledge exchange, and cultural diplomacy.
