FAH UIN Jakarta Also Enlivenes UIN Expose 2026: Introducing Study Programs and Scholarship Opportunities to Hundreds of Students

Main Auditorium, FAH News Online — Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta also participated in the 2026 UIN Expose activity which was held on Wednesday (11/2/2026) at the Harun Nasution Auditorium UIN Jakarta. The activity with the theme “Discover Your Path, Be Part of UIN Jakarta” was attended by hundreds of students from various high schools, vocational schools and Islamic boarding schools.

As part of the 12 faculties that opened information booths, FAH presents a special stand to introduce study programs within the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, starting from Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic History and Civilization, Tarjamah, Library Science, to English Literature.

Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., SS, M.Hum., was also present to directly review the activities at the FAH booth and greet the students. On this occasion, he said that UIN Expose was a strategic momentum to introduce FAH as a faculty that integrates a rich cultural, historical and linguistic scientific tradition with a humanist approach that is relevant to the needs of the modern world.

“FAH not only equips students with strong academic competencies, but also skills relevant to current developments. "We want students to know that FAH graduates have broad career opportunities, both in the fields of education, research, translation, writing, media and the creative industry," he said.

Through this booth, FAH lecturers and students provide explanations about the curriculum, career prospects, as well as various academic and non-academic activities that can support student development.

Apart from presenting the study program, visitors also get information about various entry routes to UIN Jakarta as well as scholarship opportunities, such as LPDP, BIB, Baznas, and STF UIN Jakarta.

The enthusiasm of students can be seen from the many questions asked regarding study opportunities and career development after graduation.

Chancellor of UIN Jakarta Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, MA, Ph.D. in his speech emphasized that education is an important investment for the nation's future. He encourages students to have high ideals and not limit themselves by background.

“Must have high thoughts and aspirations. Don't feel that it is impossible to continue your studies at college. Intend firmly, achieve your dreams, worship and focus. God willing, the future is in your hands,” he said.

This activity also presented a talk show session with UIN Jakarta alumni, Rian Fahardhi, founder of the Indonesian School, and Rinaldi Nur Ibrahim, Founder of Youth Ranger Indonesia. In this session, Rian said that many people fail not because the challenges are difficult, but because they are confused about starting. “The name of the campus may be able to make your name bigger for a while, but you yourself can carry your name big forever,” he said.

Meanwhile, Rinaldi emphasized the importance of skills and developing one's potential. “A person's quality does not depend on their campus. Everyone has their own potential,” he said.

The excitement of the event was also felt even more with the performance of the marching band and musical performances from UKM RIAK. Apart from the faculty booth, there is also a student UKM booth and scholarship information booth which provides a comprehensive overview of campus life at UIN Jakarta.

FAH's participation in the 2026 UIN Expose is a form of faculty commitment to expanding access to higher education information and supporting prospective students to find the best path according to their interests and potential.
