FAH Holds a Workshop on Finalizing Study Program Accreditation Documents to Strengthen Readiness for Excellent Accreditation
Bogor, FAH Online News – The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, organized a Workshop on Finalizing Study Program Accreditation Documents: Evaluation of the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and Self-Evaluation Report (LED) as a Strategic Step Toward Excellent Accreditation on June 5–6, 2026, at Sahira Boutique Hotel Paledang, Bogor City. The workshop featured Prof. Ahmad Saehudin Nirwan, S.Kom., M.Kom., an expert from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) and a lecturer at Andalas University, Padang, as the keynote speaker.
The workshop was conducted through two intensive discussion sessions. The first session was moderated by M. Zacky Mubbarak, M.A., while the second session was led by Dr. Nurul Aini, M.Pd. This activity forms part of the faculty’s strategic efforts to ensure study programs are well prepared for the accreditation process while strengthening the implementation of a sustainable quality culture.
The event was attended by the FAH leadership, representatives of the University Quality Assurance Institute (LPM), heads and secretaries of study programs, accreditation teams, the Faculty Quality Assurance Unit (GJM), students, and related educational staff. Over the two-day workshop, participants reviewed and refined the two main accreditation documents: the Study Program Performance Report (LKPS) and the Self-Evaluation Report (LED).
In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., S.S., M.Hum., emphasized that accreditation should not be viewed merely as an administrative requirement but as an integral part of the quality assurance system that promotes continuous quality improvement. Therefore, the LKPS and LED documents must objectively and accurately reflect the actual condition of the study programs and be supported by valid data.
“Accreditation documents should reflect the quality of governance, the implementation of the university’s tridharma missions, and the various achievements attained by the study programs. Through this workshop, all data and narratives are comprehensively evaluated to ensure they are stronger, more systematic, and more accurate,” he stated during the opening session.
On the same occasion, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi Kharlie, S.Ag., S.H., M.H., M.A., who joined virtually via Zoom Meeting, expressed his appreciation and support for the event. In his address, he highlighted that the workshop on preparing study program accreditation documents represents a strategic initiative in strengthening readiness for the accreditation process.
According to him, every stage of the preparation should be carried out thoroughly, carefully, and with a strong commitment to quality enhancement so that each study program is optimally prepared to achieve the Excellent Accreditation status.
One of the key agendas of the workshop was the presentation of accreditation document progress by each study program. During this session, the Translation Studies Program team presented the completion status of its accreditation documents, identified data gaps, discussed challenges in collecting supporting evidence, and outlined strategies for document refinement prior to submission for the next accreditation stage. The presentation received direct feedback and evaluation from the keynote speaker.
Various important aspects of the accreditation instrument were discussed throughout the workshop, including the study program’s vision, mission, objectives, and strategies; governance and management; partnerships; students and graduates; human resources; finance and infrastructure; education; research; community service; and the outcomes and achievements of the university’s tridharma missions.
Based on the workshop discussions, participants concluded that the LKPS and LED documents had demonstrated significant progress. In general, the documents already fulfilled the required structure and substance stipulated in the accreditation instrument, although several aspects still require further improvement to strengthen both the documents and supporting evidence.
The program continued with an evening session featuring Muhamad Nur Gunawan, MBA., from the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, who serves as the Coordinator of the Higher Education Database (PDDIKTI). In his presentation, he reviewed lecturer data from each study program registered within the PDDIKTI system. This session aimed to ensure the accuracy and validity of academic data, which constitutes one of the key components in the accreditation process.
Through this workshop, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities hopes that all study programs will be better prepared to undergo accreditation and achieve the Excellent Accreditation status. The workshop also served as an important momentum to strengthen collective commitment toward building a sustainable quality culture and enhancing the quality of higher education within the Faculty of Adab and Humanities.
