South Tangerang, FAH Online News – A total of 11 employees from the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta were officially appointed as Government Employees with a Work Agreement (PPPK) in the formation of 2024. This inauguration is part of the national inauguration carried out by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia and was held simultaneously on Monday (26/05/2025), at the Prof. Auditorium. Dr. Bahtiar Effendy, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UIN Jakarta, and broadcast live via the official UIN Jakarta YouTube channel.

Of the total 178 PPPK people appointed within UIN Jakarta, 11 of them came from FAH, including lecturers and educational staff. This activity is an important milestone for FAH in strengthening institutional capacity and improving the quality of academic services as a whole.

The inauguration opened with prayer readings and singing the songs Indonesia Raya and Mars Ministry of Religion. Furthermore, remarks were delivered from a number of national figures, including the Indonesian Minister of Religion, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, MA, who directly took the oath of office of the inauguration participants.

Also present at the event was the Deputy Minister of PAN-RB, Komjen Pol (Ret.) Dr. Purwadi Arianto, M.Si., Head of BKN, Prof. Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh, SH, MH, as well as Deputy Head of BPJPH and a number of first echelon officials from the Ministry of Religion. At the university level, the inauguration was also attended by the Chancellor of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Asep Saepuddin Jahar, MA, Ph.D., who expressed his appreciation and direction to all participants.

In his speech, the Minister of Religion reminded the importance of the ASN Ministry of Religion's role in maintaining integrity, religious values, and being a moral example in society. “ASN Ministry of Religion must be ready to be a role model 24 hours,” he said.

The Chancellor of UIN Jakarta emphasized the importance of work ethic and post-inauguration loyalty. “Don't let performance decline after becoming PPPK. In fact, it must increase, because this is part of worship and devotion, ” emphasized Prof. Asep.

This inauguration is an affirmation that the FAH is actively involved in supporting the Ministry of Religion's bureaucratic reform program. The existence of 11 new PPPKs is expected to be able to improve the performance of FAH's academic and administrative services professionally, while strengthening the spirit of service based on the values of manners and integrity.

The Ministry of Religion has determined that additional selection for PPPK Phase II will be carried out on May 31 2025. FAH UIN Jakarta is ready to support and actively participate in this process in order to create a work system that is adaptive, has character and has a real impact on the people.
