South Tangerang, FAH Online News – The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, welcomed a visit from the UIN Jakarta Career Center on Monday (August 3, 2026) to strengthen collaboration in managing alumni Tracer Study data. Held in the Main Conference Room on the second floor of the FAH Building, the meeting served not only as an opportunity to strengthen institutional ties but also to improve the faculty's Tracer Study response rate through closer cooperation between FAH and the Career Center. This initiative is expected to support quality assurance and the accreditation process of the faculty's study programs.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., S.S., M.Hum., CIQnR; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, M.A., M.A., Ph.D.; Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs; the Head of the UIN Jakarta Career Center, Muhammad Kholis Hamdy, S.Sos.I., M.Int.Dev.; and four Career Center internship students from the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) and the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB). The interns were also introduced as the dedicated Persons in Charge (PICs) for the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, responsible for coordinating Tracer Study implementation at the faculty level.

In addition to strengthening institutional relations, the meeting aimed to enhance coordination between FAH and the Career Center in improving both the quality and quantity of graduate Tracer Study data. This collaboration is expected to accelerate alumni data collection while supporting the accreditation requirements of the study programs.

In his welcoming remarks, Dean Dr. Ade Abdul Hak expressed his appreciation for the Career Center's visit as a meaningful effort to strengthen collaboration in improving alumni Tracer Study achievements. According to him, the Tracer Study serves as an important instrument for study program accreditation while also functioning as an evaluation tool to improve graduate quality. He expressed hope that cooperation between FAH and the Career Center would continue to grow through mentoring, effective coordination, and various career development programs for both students and alumni.

Sharing the same view, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, expressed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by the Career Center to FAH.

"We sincerely appreciate the presence of the Career Center at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. Their assistance and guidance have been invaluable in improving our Tracer Study data, particularly in supporting the accreditation process of the four study programs currently undergoing accreditation," said Prof. Usep.

He further explained that the synergy between FAH and the Career Center has significantly increased alumni participation in the Tracer Study, making it an important indicator for quality assurance and study program accreditation.

Meanwhile, the Head of the UIN Jakarta Career Center, Muhammad Kholis Hamdy, commended FAH's Tracer Study performance, describing it as one of the best within UIN Jakarta.

According to him, this achievement reflects the strong commitment of the faculty leadership, particularly the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, in maintaining effective communication with alumni.

"Alhamdulillah, the Tracer Study achievement of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities is outstanding. We highly appreciate FAH's success in managing its Tracer Study data. In fact, FAH is currently among the leading faculties in Tracer Study management," Hamdy remarked.

He also explained that the Career Center will continue expanding its support programs by strengthening the alumni database through website development, including the addition of career information services, preparing long-term strategic planning, and developing an academic journal focusing on career development. Furthermore, the Career Center will continue providing various training programs to enhance students' competencies and better prepare them for the job market.

As part of its career service development, the Career Center also plans to broaden alumni surveys to identify the skills most relevant to current labor market demands. The survey findings are expected to serve as a basis for designing competency development programs for students.

During the discussion session, Hikmah Irfaniah, M.Hum., Secretary of the Library and Information Science Study Program, proposed that the Career Center organize mock interview training for seventh-semester students. She also emphasized the importance of workshops on preparing professional Curriculum Vitae (CVs) that meet industry standards to improve the competitiveness of FAH graduates.

Through stronger collaboration between the Faculty of Adab and Humanities and the UIN Jakarta Career Center, it is expected that alumni Tracer Study management will continue to improve while generating various career development initiatives that prepare FAH graduates to become highly qualified, adaptive, and competitive professionals in the workforce.
