South Tangerang, FAH Online News – The Faculty of Adab and Humanities UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the Workshop on Academic Writing for International Recognition on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the Dean’s Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, FAH UIN Jakarta. The workshop took place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM WIB and was attended by outstanding students selected through a rigorous selection process from various study programs within FAH.

This workshop was part of the preparation series for the International Student Mobility (ISM) 2026 Program, which will be conducted in Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand from July 21–27, 2026. Through this activity, students were equipped with academic writing skills and international-standard scientific article preparation as preparation for participating in overseas academic mobility programs.

The workshop featured several academics and lecturers from FAH UIN Jakarta as speakers, including Dr. Awalia Rahma, Tuty Handayani, Dr. Alfida, Prof. Amirul Hadi, Dr. Karlina Helmanita, Yeni Ratna Yuningish, Prof. Jajang Jahroni, and Dr. Ulil Abshar. The session was moderated by Hikmah Irfaniah.

During the workshop, participants were grouped according to their respective study programs and were directly guided by article supervisors.

The workshop materials covered scientific article writing techniques, academic abstract preparation, international publication strategies, and strengthening scientific presentation skills in both Indonesian and English. Participants also received guidance on aligning their article themes with the focus of ISM 2026 activities, such as digital Islamic humanities, preservation of Nusantara Islamic culture, literacy and socio-religious transformation, and multicultural studies.

The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak. Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, Vice Dean III of FAH, also explained the urgency of this program as a form of international recognition. Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the International Student Mobility 2026 Committee, Dr. Mauidlotun Nisa', expressed optimism that the program would be successful and have a global impact.

The workshop was conducted interactively and received enthusiastic participation from the attendees. Through this workshop, FAH UIN Jakarta hopes that students will be able to improve the quality of their scientific work while expanding their international academic experience through the International Student Mobility 2026 program.
