Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Jakarta Holds Preparation for ACQUIN International Accreditation Visitation
Tangsel, Wednesday, September 25, 2024 - Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held preparatory activities towards international accreditation visitation by ACQUIN (Akkreditierungs-, Certifizierungs- und Qualitätssicherungs-Institut), by presenting resource person Hendy Santosa, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., lecturer and Secretary of Quality Assurance LPMPP Bengkulu University. This activity was held at Syahida Inn, aiming to conduct international recognition and review the SAR (Self-Assessment Report) document that has been submitted to ACQUIN.
In his speech, the Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., S.S., M.Hum., CIQnR, emphasized the importance of the cooperation of the entire FAH academic community in the success of this international accreditation. He reminded that all elements of FAH, from leaders to education staff, are part of a system that must synergize in supporting the achievement of accreditation. “The entire FAH community must build a system that can truly support the success of international accreditation,” he said.
This activity was divided into two main sessions. In the first session, Hendy Santosa explained the results of the SAR document review that had been submitted, where several notes were found from ACQUIN related to document completeness and accessibility. Some important points of concern to ACQUIN include quality documents, learning evaluation processes, codes of ethics, and monitoring and evaluation reports. ACQUIN also highlighted the need for exam guidelines, new student admission guidelines, and certificate of diploma companion (SKPI).
Hendy also emphasized the importance of preparing all documents and simulations before the visitation, so that every element of the faculty and university is ready to face questions from the accreditation team. The planned simulation includes four sessions, namely management sessions at the faculty, university, staff, and students and alumni.
In the second session, moderated by Hikmah Irfaniah, M.Hum, Hendy discussed in detail the technical matters that need to be prepared, including the update of the link drive accessed by ACQUIN, the cleanliness of the campus environment, faculty profile videos, and the completeness of infrastructure facilities such as environmentally friendly stickers and K3.
Towards the end of the event, Hendy underlined the importance of rechecking the accessibility of the link drive containing SAR documents, as well as the need to complete the documents requested by ACQUIN. He also reminded the entire FAH academic community to maintain the spirit and commitment in building a system that supports the improvement of global recognition, so that the quality of service to students can continue to improve.
With two months left, the Dean of FAH invited all elements of the faculty to maximize preparations, including completing documents and conducting simulations, for the success of this international accreditation.
