EDOM Evaluation Meeting, FAH Strengthens Learning Quality and Lecturer Quality

FAH Main Courtroom, FAH News Online — Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) held a lecturer evaluation meeting. This meeting raised the theme “Discussion of Lecturer Evaluation Results by Students (EDOM) and Follow-up” as part of efforts to continuously improve the quality of learning in the Main Courtroom on the 2nd floor of the FAH Building. Thursday, 01/22/2026.

The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., SS, M.Hum., Deputy Dean I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ida Farida, M.LIS., as well as Chair of the FAH Quality Assurance Group (GJM) Team, Elve Oktafiyani, M.Hum., together with the GJM Team from each Study Program. The presence of faculty leaders and quality assurance teams confirms FAH's commitment to maintaining and improving the academic quality and professionalism of lecturers.

In this meeting, the results of the Student Evaluation of Lecturers (EDOM) were comprehensively discussed, which is an important instrument in measuring the quality of the learning process. This evaluation not only covers pedagogical aspects and mastery of the material, but also reflects students' perceptions of teaching methods, communication, and the lecturer's academic interactions in the classroom.

The Dean of FAH in his directive insisted that EDOM was a means of joint reflection, not merely assessment, but a basis for the improvement and development of teaching quality. “Through EDOM, faculty can ensure that the learning process runs in accordance with the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) and the established curriculum,” he said.

It was further agreed that lecturer evaluations would be carried out three times in one academic year in order to monitor the consistency of teaching quality, ensure the conformity of the learning process with the applicable RPS and curriculum, and encourage continuous improvement of lecturer performance through targeted and measurable follow-up.

Through this meeting, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities hopes that the results of the EDOM evaluation can be followed up concretely, both in the form of developing lecturers, improving learning methods, and strengthening academic culture that is adaptive to student needs. Thus, FAH continues to strive to provide a quality, relevant and educational process oriented towards improving the quality of graduates. (SN)
