South Tangerang, FAH Online – After nearly one semester without official student identification, the 2025 cohort of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities has finally received a solution through a collaboration with Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero). On Tuesday (April 14, 2026), the faculty officially held an event to issue multifunctional Student Identity Cards (KTM).

The newly introduced KTM serves not only as a student ID but also integrates multiple services, including access to public transportation, ATM withdrawals, library membership, and non-cash payment systems at various retail stores across Indonesia. This multifunctional card is expected to provide convenience in mobility and financial transactions for all students of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities.

The event was held over three days, from Tuesday (April 14, 2026) to Thursday (April 17, 2026). It was warmly welcomed with great enthusiasm by the 2025 students, who had been eagerly awaiting their official student identification since the beginning of the semester.

Before receiving the KTM, students were required to go through several steps. “The procedure begins with submitting data to the campus, which is then forwarded to the bank. Students must then fill out forms provided by Bank BNI, register for a Wonder account (BNI mobile banking), and finally receive their student ID card from the bank,” said Alif, a Bank BNI officer at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

This initiative is the result of strong collaboration between the faculty and Bank BNI in providing a card that combines both student ID and ATM functions into a single card. It is hoped that this partnership will continue through a sustainable Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), ensuring ongoing support and convenience for students, particularly in managing their bank accounts and administrative needs.
