This visit aims to strengthen academic networks and increase the excellence of study programs under the auspices of the Ushuluddin Faculty and Adab UIN Banten through the signing of MoA and PKS within the scope of the Tridharma of Higher Education.

The UIN Banten group was led by Dr. Masykur, M.Hum. (Dean), accompanied by Masrukhim Muhsin, M.Ag. (Deputy Dean I), Dr. Eva Syarifah Wardah, M. Hum. (Deputy Dean II), Endang Saeful Anas, MA. In his speech, the Dean of FAH UIN Jakarta, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., SS, M.Hum., expressed his appreciation and warmly welcomed the group from UIN Banten. He emphasized that FAH UIN Jakarta always opens up spaces for synergy in academic development, both through strengthening the curriculum, scientific research and publications, community service, as well as lecturer and student mobility programs.

“We are very happy to receive this visit. FAH UIN Jakarta is wholeheartedly ready to build mutually reinforcing cooperation, especially in developing humanities science that is relevant to the needs of the times and global challenges,” said Dr. Ade.

Meanwhile, Dean of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Adab UIN Banten, Dr. Masykur, M.Hum., revealed that his party made FAH UIN Jakarta a partner in learning and exchanging experiences, especially in strengthening international network research and academic quality assurance.

“UIN Jakarta is a role model for us, especially in our track record of international research and collaboration. "We hope that this collaboration will give birth to concrete programs such as visiting lectures, collaborative research, international seminars, and student placements in national and international partnership programs," he explained.

Deputy Dean III of UIN Banten, Endang Saeful Anas, MA, also added that UIN Banten is currently preparing to expand the faculty so that the Faculty of Adab and Ushuluddin will be established as two separate entities. With a large number of students in several study programs such as Arabic Language and Literature (BSA), History of Islamic Civilization and Library Science, collaboration with FAH UIN Jakarta is expected to accelerate the strengthening of academic services.

This meeting also noted several concrete follow-up plans that will soon be realized, including the holding of joint international seminars, strengthening thematic disaster research through national collaboration, as well as the use of the FAH UIN Jakarta international network to improve the quality of scientific publications at UIN Banten.

The visit closed with the handover of souvenirs and a joint photo session, as a symbol of the commitment of both parties in building sustainable synergy and contributing to the progress of Islamic higher education in Indonesia. (SN)
