Pasuruan, FAH Online News – The Master's Program in Arabic Language and Literature (MBSA) of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, continues to expand its network of academic partnerships with higher education institutions. One such initiative was realized through a Seminar and Arabic Language and Literature Outreach Program held at the International Islamic University Darullughah Wadda'wah (UII Dalwa) in Pasuruan on 30 July 2026.

The event aimed to strengthen inter-university relations while introducing the Faculty of Adab and Humanities of UIN Jakarta—particularly the Master's Program in Arabic Language and Literature (MBSA)—to the academic community of UII Dalwa. The program featured an opening ceremony, welcoming remarks, institutional presentations, study program promotion, discussions on potential collaborations, and an interactive question-and-answer session. The delegation from FAH UIN Jakarta received a warm welcome from the leadership of UII Dalwa.

The FAH UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta delegation was led by Dr. Siti Amsariah, M.Ag., Vice Dean for General Administration, accompanied by Dr. M. Adib Misbachul Islam, M.Hum., Head of the Master's Program in Arabic Language and Literature, Sholikatus Sa'diyah, M.Pd., Secretary of the Program, as well as representatives from the Department of Translation Studies, including Prof. Dr. Darsita Suparno, M.Hum., M. Zacky Mubbarak, M.A., Secretary of the Department, and Dr. Nurul Aini, M.Pd., who attended as a faculty representative.

During the event, Dr. Faizul Hamzah, Vice Rector I of UII Dalwa, presented the university's profile, history, vision, mission, and various international programs that have been developed. He emphasized UII Dalwa's commitment to learning from and strengthening collaboration with FAH UIN Jakarta, particularly in teaching and research. According to him, FAH UIN Jakarta's success in obtaining international accreditation serves as an inspiration for enhancing academic quality at UII Dalwa.

Meanwhile, Dr. Siti Amsariah, M.Ag., introduced the Faculty's profile, its academic programs, and its notable achievements. She also outlined various opportunities for collaboration, including onsite and online visiting lectures, jointly funded collaborative research, and opportunities for publication in FAH's nationally accredited (SINTA-indexed) academic journals.

In the following session, Dr. M. Adib Misbachul Islam introduced the Master's Program in Arabic Language and Literature. His presentation highlighted the strengths of the MBSA curriculum, covering Arabic language and literary studies, linguistics, translation studies, graduate career prospects, and scholarship opportunities. He also noted that MBSA UIN Jakarta has produced numerous alumni who now serve as lecturers and researchers in the field of Arabic language and literature.

Beyond introducing the study program, both institutions discussed concrete steps to implement future collaboration. Planned initiatives include faculty and student exchanges, joint research projects, academic seminars, collaborative scholarly publications, and curriculum development. Both parties agreed that cooperation should extend beyond the signing of formal agreements and be translated into sustainable academic programs that generate tangible benefits for both institutions.

Participants showed great enthusiasm during the discussion and question-and-answer session. Questions focused on the MBSA admission process, scholarship opportunities, graduate career prospects, and future models of academic collaboration. All inquiries were addressed directly by the speakers.

Through this event, both institutions successfully introduced their academic profiles to a broader audience, increased the visibility of the MBSA Program among the UII Dalwa academic community, and strengthened their shared commitment to implementing sustainable academic collaboration. Follow-up coordination will be conducted to formulate collaborative programs that can be realized in the near future.
