Ahmad Miqdar Haqiqi Wins 1st Place in Gita Bahana Nusantara, South Tangerang City, Ready to Advance to the National Level
Ciputat, FAH Online News — The 2022 batch of Library Science Department student, Ahmad Miqdar Haqiqi, succeeded in making UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta proud through his achievements in the field of singing. Miqdar won 1st place in the Bass Voice Category in the Gita Bahana Nusantara (GBN) event at the South Tangerang City level, a prestigious vocal competition that will send the winners to appear at the State Palace on August 17.
“My motivation is none other than to make my family proud and also bring the name of UIN's alma mater to the national level,” said Miqdar. He will continue his struggle as a representative of Tangsel City to the provincial level, competing with participants from all over Banten for a place in the GBN National Choir.
Miqdar admitted that the process towards victory was not easy. He actively trains with his immediate environment, matures techniques and strengthens his mentality to perform optimally at each selection stage. Support from family, relatives and friends is an important factor in his journey to achieve achievements.
“The next challenge is to prepare more thoroughly for Provincial level selection,” he added.
Apart from bringing personal benefits, Miqdar sees this achievement as also having a positive impact on his non-academic life. He feels more open to new opportunities and has a wider network of relationships thanks to his participation in this prestigious event.
The next target is clear: passing the provincial selection and appearing at the State Palace as part of the commemoration of Indonesian Independence Day.
In closing, Miqdar conveyed an inspiring message to fellow students:
“Anyone can achieve this achievement, both in academic and non-academic fields. But it must be supported by will and ambition. Realize your potential and develop it.”
