141st FAH UIN Jakarta Graduation Ceremony Emphasizes Knowledge, Good Character, and Courage to Embrace the Future
Theater Room, FAH Online News – The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held the 141st Graduation Ceremony for Prospective Graduates on Friday, September 11, 2026, under the theme “Affirming Innovative, Integrity-Driven, and Humanitarian Impactful Graduates.” The event was attended by prospective undergraduate and master’s graduates, as well as faculty leaders, heads and secretaries of study programs, lecturers, educational staff, and the graduation committee.
The determination of the participants was based on Decree of the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities Number 55 of 2026, dated August 28, 2026, concerning the designation of prospective graduates, the best graduates of each study program, and the faculty’s best graduates for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. At the faculty level, Assyifa Rizkia Aulia from the Arabic Language and Literature Study Program was named the best undergraduate graduate with a GPA of 3.96. Meanwhile, Fitriyani from the Master’s Program in Islamic History and Culture was named the best master’s graduate with a GPA of 3.81.
In his remarks, Dean of FAH Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., S.S., M.Hum., encouraged the graduates to view the graduation ceremony as the beginning of a new journey. He emphasized the importance of being prepared to face the professional world and pursue further educational opportunities with an open mind and a sense of gratitude.
“Alhamdulillah, this is the first step for all of you to continue striving. Whatever you may achieve in the future, whether in the form of employment or further education, let us be grateful for it and embrace the journey,” he said.
Dr. Ade further encouraged the graduates to regard graduation as a starting point for continuing their journey. Life after university may lead them toward employment or further education, and the path they take may differ from their original plans. According to him, the experience and knowledge gained during their studies can continue to serve as valuable assets in helping them discover fields that align with their abilities and interests.
The most important message emphasized toward the end of his remarks concerned adab, or good conduct and character. FAH graduates are expected to carry the name of UIN Jakarta wherever they go, making it essential for academic competence to be accompanied by exemplary character.
“Adab, in the truest sense of how we conduct ourselves, must become one of the main foundations for our continued contribution and work in the future,” he emphasized.
Through the 141st Graduation Ceremony, the graduates concluded one stage of their academic journey at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities and prepared to move forward into the next phase of their lives. The knowledge, experience, and values acquired throughout their studies are expected to remain a foundation as they pursue further education, enter the professional world, and contribute meaningfully to society.
