Visiting Lecturer Program of BSA UIN Jakarta Strengthens Academic Collaboration with the Presence of the Dean of FAH UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh

South Tangerang, FAH Online News – The Arabic Language and Literature Study Program (BSA), Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, welcomed an academic visit through the Visiting Lecturer program featuring Dr. Syarifuddin, M.A., Ph.D., Dean of FAH UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh, on Wednesday (15/04/2026). The event was attended by Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., S.S., M.Hum., CIQnR; Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., M.A., M.A., Ph.D.; the Head of the Arabic Language and Literature Program at UIN Jakarta; along with faculty members and students.

In his remarks, the Dean of FAH UIN Jakarta, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, emphasized that this activity represents a concrete step toward strengthening inter-university collaboration. He noted that such collaboration extends beyond teaching to include academic exchanges and capacity development for both lecturers and students. Furthermore, FAH UIN Jakarta is currently preparing an international webinar involving academics from various countries. Students will be encouraged to present their scientific work under the supervision of lecturers as part of improving academic achievements.

“Students need to be trained to confidently present in international forums. Each lecturer will mentor one student in the presentation,” he stated.

On the same occasion, Dr. Syarifuddin expressed his deep emotion and happiness at returning to UIN Jakarta as his alma mater.

“I feel like I am coming back home, as I completed my undergraduate studies in BSA FAH UIN Jakarta,” he said.

He also explained that his visit is part of an institutional assignment to strengthen academic networking. In addition to teaching a course on Semantics (Ilmu Dilalah), he opened opportunities for collaboration in various fields, including research, public lectures, and community service.

Furthermore, he described the current condition of UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh, which is still in the recovery phase after a disaster. Nevertheless, various programs continue to run, including educational assistance for affected students. He also invited UIN Jakarta students to participate in thematic Community Service Programs (KKN) in Aceh.

Meanwhile, the Vice Dean III of FAH UIN Jakarta, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, highlighted the importance of improving student achievements through academic and organizational activities.

“Currently, we have obtained many certifications from the UIN Jakarta Career Center, and FAH has achieved 80% in terms of graduate satisfaction,” he explained.

This activity also opens opportunities for further collaboration, such as student mobility programs to Malaysia and research collaborations based on community engagement. Through this visit, it is expected that sustainable synergy will be established between UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh in enhancing educational quality and academic competitiveness.
