South Tangerang, FAH News Online - Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta received a visit from the Professional Certification Institute (LSP) UIN Jakarta in the context of an audience and outreach of the competency certification program on Friday (26/9). This event took place in the Main Courtroom, 2nd Floor, FAH Campus 3 Building, and was attended by faculty leaders, study program chairs and secretaries, heads of administration, Quality Assurance Group (GJM), education staff, and student volunteers.

LSP UIN Jakarta is an officially licensed institution from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) which has the mandate to carry out competency certification for students and alumni in accordance with national standards and the needs of the industrial world. On this occasion, the LSP representative emphasized that competency certification before graduating is a plus in the eyes of the world of work. Students who have an official certificate from BNSP will receive competency recognition that strengthens their competitiveness, both at national and international levels.

Dissemination also explains that competency certification has a number of benefits. This certification can be a Certificate of Companion to a Diploma (SKPI), provide recognition of the competencies they have, increase competitiveness in job selection, become credible personal branding, increase career development opportunities, and increase graduate self-confidence.

LSP UIN Jakarta offers various certification schemes that can be adapted to student fields of study, such as Accounting Technician, Digital Marketing Cluster, Recruitment and Selection Implementation Cluster, Designing Learning Strategies and Methods, Leading Travel, Implementation of Library Automation, KKNI Industrial Entrepreneurship Qualification Level 3, Intermediate Data Scientist (Associate Data Scientist), to Implementation of Issue Management.

This socialization also displays testimonials from alumni who have experienced the benefits of certification. Rudi Hermawan, SHI, a graduate of Islamic Family Law, for example, was accepted as a mediator at the Sleman Religious Court immediately after graduating thanks to his BNSP certification. Meanwhile, Rina Wijaya, SE, a graduate of Accounting at Hasanuddin University, was successfully recruited by PT Ernst & Young Indonesia as an Audit Associate because she had BNSP Junior Accountant certification. Rina admits that taking the competency test before graduation is an added value during job interviews and makes companies have more confidence in their abilities.

Through this outreach, FAH UIN Jakarta shows its commitment to supporting students to be better prepared to face the challenges of the world of work. Collaboration with LSP UIN Jakarta is a real step in ensuring that graduates have skills that are recognized nationally and internationally, so that they are able to compete and contribute more widely in various professional fields.
