HMPS of Library Science, FAH UIN Jakarta Holds 2026/2027 Work Meeting, Focuses on Collaboration and Innovative Programs
South Tangerang, FAH Online News — The Student Association of the Library Science Study Program (HMPS) at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held a Work Meeting (Raker) for the 2026–2027 management period on Monday (April 13, 2026) at the Prof. Abdul Gani Theater, 5th Floor, FAH. The event was attended by faculty leaders, representatives of the study program, and all HMPS administrators. This activity marked an important moment in formulating the organization’s future direction and work programs.
The work meeting carried the theme “Strengthening Collaboration and Strategic Planning as the Foundation for Innovative and Impactful Work Programs.” This theme emphasized the importance of synergy among administrators as well as careful planning in producing programs that are not only well-directed but also provide tangible benefits for Library Science students and the surrounding community.
In their remarks, representatives of the faculty leadership, Vice Dean III for Student Affairs, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., M.A., M.A., Ph.D., along with the Head of the Library Science Study Program represented by Hikmah Irfaniah, M.Hum., expressed their appreciation for the implementation of this activity and their hopes that HMPS will continue to grow into an outstanding and inspiring organization.
The chairperson of the organizing committee, in their speech, expressed gratitude for the successful organization of the work meeting. They also extended thanks to all parties, especially the committee members, who contributed to the success of the event.
“This work meeting is not merely about drafting work programs, but also serves as a strategic forum to design the organization’s direction so that it becomes more effective and impactful. We hope all administrators can actively contribute ideas, thoughts, and their best innovations,” they stated.
Furthermore, they invited all administrators to use the work meeting forum as a productive and open discussion space, grounded in a shared sense of responsibility for the advancement of the organization.
This activity is expected to produce realistic and beneficial work programs that will lead HMPS Library Science toward becoming a more focused, innovative, and positively impactful organization for all students.
The work meeting concluded with the hope that all planned activities will run smoothly and result in the best decisions for the organization’s future progress.
