South Tangerang, FAH News Online- Faculty of Adab and Humanities UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is again holding a regeneration of student leadership by officially inaugurating the management of the Student Organization (Ormawa) at faculty and department level for the 2026-2027 term. The inauguration event took place on Friday (27/2/2026) solemnly and was held in the FAH theater room on the 5th floor. This inauguration procession was attended by Dean Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, M.Hum, Deputy Dean 3 Prof. Usep Abdul Matin S.Ag., MA, Ph.D and, the ranks of the study program heads, SEMA members, and students.
This important momentum for the inauguration was also marked by a procession reading the Decree (SK) as well as the inauguration of the new management led directly by Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., MA, Ph.D. After that, a procession of handing over positions from the chairman of Ormawa management for the 2025 period will be held to the elected Ormawa leaders who will carry out a major mandate in 2026. This transition of leadership within the faculty is not just a formal and symbolic change of position, but a concrete manifestation of the relay of struggle and moral responsibility to continue to bring the good name of the institution.
Entering the core session of the activity, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, M.Hum., provided messages, advice and strategic direction to all newly appointed administrators. In his presentation, he strongly emphasized that being an active student on campus is both a privilege and a challenge that demands extraordinary time management skills. Ormawa administrators are required to be able to reconcile high dedication in organizing with achieving academic achievements in college. He also emphasized the importance of students who contribute greatly to society and are active in organizations rather than just being butterfly students (Going Home) even though they have a high GPA.
Through this inauguration, it is hoped that synergy between faculty leaders and all institutional elements of students can be established more solidly. New management is required to be able to manage time well so that academic achievements and dedication to the organization can go hand in hand. Thus, it is hoped that the harmony of these two aspects will produce humanities graduates who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also competitive in society.
