FAH UIN Jakarta Holds Lecturer Meeting and Breaks the Fast Together, Strengthens Research Commitment 2026

South Tangerang, FAH Online — Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Lecturer Meeting which was combined with Breaking the Fast Together on Tuesday (24/2/2026) on the 5th Floor of the FAH Theater Room. This activity was attended by FAH lecturers as a forum for evaluating and consolidating programs, as well as a momentum to strengthen friendship in the Ramadan atmosphere in order to build togetherness to advance the faculty.

In this agenda, the faculty leadership conveyed a number of strategic points, including the presentation of LAKIP 2025 as well as the Research Group-based research and community service achievement strategy for the 2026–2031 period. This step is part of the faculty's systematic efforts to strengthen governance, tridharma performance, and a more structured and measurable direction for academic development.

Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., SS, M.Hum., in his presentation emphasized the importance of strengthening the culture of scientific writing as well as increasing research activities and academic presentations in line with the university's vision as a research university. He also said that the results of the Student Lecturer Evaluation (EDOM) showed very good achievements with an average score above 3.5 on a scale of 4. However, the quality of learning still needs to be improved in order to maintain student satisfaction and the faculty's academic reputation.

On this occasion, the faculty awarded the Lecturer Award with the Highest EDOM Score to Yeni Ratna Yuningsih, S.Ag., MA, Ph.D. (3.84), M. Agus Suriadi, S.Pd., M.Hum. (3.81), and Dr. Karlina Helmanita, M.Ag. (3,79) as a form of appreciation for the dedication and quality of teaching. Apart from that, the Highest High Score Scopus Award was also given to Prof. Dr. Imam Subchi, MA, Prof. Dr. Jajat Burhanuddin, MA, and Prof. Dr. Oman Fathurrahman, M.Hum., and the Highest Sinta Score Award to Dr. Nurul Aini, S.Pd., M.Pd., Prof. Dr. Darsita S, M. Hum., and Prof. Dr. Frans Sayogie, SH, MH, M.Pd. for his contribution to publications and scientific citations that make the faculty proud.

In the field of student development, FAH encourages increased academic achievement and scientific writing skills. The faculty targeted the participation of three students in an international webinar forum through a selection process, with six students currently assessed as ready to make English presentations.

From an institutional perspective, a number of study programs have received accreditation certificates and study programs with superior status are encouraged to maintain these achievements. With around 3,000 active students, the faculty considers that there is a need for a strategy to add permanent lecturers in order to maintain the ideal faculty-student ratio.

Then looking at 2026, FAH targets increasing scientific publications with a minimum of one article per lecturer every semester, as well as strengthening research based on the SDGs and Green Campus. The five research groups that have been formed are also optimized as a forum for collaboration and increasing academic output.

Next, while waiting for the time to break the fast, continue in the respective study program rooms to hold technical discussions and formulate more specific follow-up steps according to the needs and development strategies of each study program.

The activity closed with breaking the fast and praying together in a warm and family-filled atmosphere. It is hoped that the togetherness that exists will further strengthen the solidity of lecturers in developing the Faculty of Adab and Humanities into a faculty that is superior, collaborative and internationally competitive.
