FAH UIN Jakarta Holds Judicial Degree and Releases 139th Graduation: Digital Society, Religious Generation, Smart, and Impactful to Society

South Tangerang, FAH News Online — Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the 139th Judiciary and Graduation Release on Friday (6/2/2026) in the Prof. Theater Room. Bustami Abdul Ghani, 5th Floor FAH. This activity carries the theme “Digital Society: Religious, Smart Generation, and Impacting Society” as a reflection of the role of FAH graduates in responding to the challenges of the digital era.

The judiciary is led directly by the Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., SS, M.Hum., CIQnR., and was attended by faculty leaders, chairmen and study program secretaries within the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. The main agenda includes reading the Dean's Decree, determining judicial participants, and announcing the best graduates from each study program and faculty level.

FAH determines the best graduates from each study program as follows: Arabic Language and Literature Study Program: Nabilah Irza Maharani (GPA 3.94) with thesis title: Ẓāhirat Tahwīl al-Syifrah wa Takhlīṭihā fī Musalsal Jāyibah al-‘Īd, Study Program History and Islamic Civilization: Syifa Hafidzoh (GPA 3.76), with thesis title: Analysis of KH's Thought. MA. Sahal Mahfudh in Hall Magazine 1988–1990, Tarjamah Study Program: Pipih Bahriani (GPA 3.68), with thesis title: Accuracy of Diction in Arabic Translate Auto Translation–Indonesia on Omar Abdulrahman YouTube Videos, Library Science Study Program: Agnes Putri A. (GPA 3.96), with thesis title: Jakarta Cikini Library's Efforts to Support Recreational Functions, English Literature Study Program: Naufal Alfarissy (GPA 3.58), with thesis title: The Legitimation Loop: Synthesizing Political Realism and Victimhood in Netanyahu's 2024 UN Speech, Master's Study Program in Islamic History and Culture: Mariyo Romadon (GPA 3.66), with thesis title: Tuan Guru Hasan bin H. Anang Yahya (1927–1940): Her work and response to the religious understanding of the Mudo people, the title of best graduate of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities was won by Agnes Putri A. from the Library Science Study Program.

In conveying impressions and messages, the best graduate representatives said that the judiciary is an important transition phase from the academic process to community service. He emphasized that academic achievement must be accompanied by character, religious values and skills so that FAH graduates are able to have a real impact. Graduates are also reminded to practice the knowledge gained, and always be grateful to their parents, lecturers, educational staff and themselves for their struggles while studying.

Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, in his speech said that the achievements of graduates were the result of a long struggle full of dynamics. Linking the theme of digital society, he emphasized the importance of integrating empirical, rational and spiritual knowledge so that graduates are able to face current developments without losing the value of faith.

“Knowledge that is not practiced can be a burden. Therefore, the knowledge gained must be realized in real contributions in society,” he said.

Towards the end of the event, the judicial atmosphere became warmer with various performances presented to prospective graduate students as a form of appreciation and celebration of the academic achievements they had achieved.

Through the 139th Graduation Judiciary and Release, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities at UIN Jakarta reiterates its commitment to producing graduates who excel academically, have religious character, and are ready to play an active role in building an ethical and civilized digital society.
