South Tangerang, FAH Online News – In celebration of Environment Day on June 5, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities attended the distribution and distribution of electric bicycles by UIN Jakarta. The event was attended directly by the Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., SS, M.Hum., CIQnR. The Faculty of Adab and Humanities received four electric bicycles. 

The symbolic handover of electric bicycles was carried out by the Chancellor of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, MA., Ph.D., in an event that took place at the AAKK Lounge Meeting. After the symbolic procession, faculty representatives moved towards the courtyard of the Harun Nasution Auditorium Building to receive electric bicycles directly. At this location, bicycle trials were also carried out by leaders and invited guests.

Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., SS, M.Hum., CIQnR, received an electric bicycle in the courtyard of the Harun Nasution Auditorium. For the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, the presence of four SALUT electric bicycles is a concrete step in supporting environmentally friendly mobility within the faculty environment. This bicycle will be used to support the daily activities of staff and lecturers in the campus environment, as well as being a symbol of FAH's active participation in the sustainability movement launched by the university.

“The use of electric bicycles is a real manifestation of the change towards a more environmentally friendly campus. This is not just a ceremony, but the first step in forming sustainable habits that are in line with the spirit of Green Campus. If implemented consistently, these habits will become part of the work and service culture within the FAH environment, the FAH Dean explained.

Quoting from the official UIN Jakarta website, Head of the UIN Jakarta Green Campus Development Center, Prof. Dr. Hendrawati, M.Sc., explained that this initiative is the result of cross-institutional cooperation and is not part of the political agenda. “This is purely a form of concern for the environment and the future of the younger generation,” he said.
