Eid al-Fitr Holiday Arrives, Faculty of Adab and Humanities UIN Jakarta Wishes You a Happy Holiday
The solemn atmosphere of Ramadan is starting to be felt in every corner of the UIN Jakarta Faculty of Adab and Humanities campus. Before we know it, this blessed month will soon pass, replaced by the excitement of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah. Along with the arrival of the day of victory, the academic community of the UIN Jakarta Faculty of Adab and Humanities is preparing to welcome the long holiday that has been awaited.
Based on the academic calendar, the Eid al-Fitr 1446 H holiday at the UIN Jakarta Faculty of Adab and Humanities will take place from March 28 to April 7, 2025. This long holiday provides an opportunity for students, lecturers, and staff to celebrate Eid al-Fitr with their families and loved ones in their hometowns. The Eid al-Fitr holiday is a very valuable moment for all of us. This is a time to reflect on ourselves, strengthen ties, and return to nature after a full month of fasting.
For most Indonesians, Eid al-Fitr is synonymous with the tradition of going home. Millions of people flock to leave big cities to return to their hometowns, meet their families, and celebrate the day of victory together. The tradition of going home is not just a physical journey, but also a spiritual journey. Along the way, we learn about patience, sincerity, and the importance of maintaining good relationships with others. Going home is part of Indonesian culture. It is a time to remember our origins, appreciate family values, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.
