FAH Building, FAH News Online– Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta officially has a new autonomous institution, Creatifah, which operates in the field of creative media and journalism. Creatifah's internal inauguration and strengthening activities took place on Monday, April 28 2025 in the Courtroom on the 2nd Floor, FAH UIN Jakarta.

In his speech, Deputy Dean III of FAH, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin S.Ag., MA, MA, Ph.D. reminded the importance of the real contributions of Creatifah members to the faculty. “Ask yourself what you can give to FAH. The charity we give must feel the impact, not only for us, but also for the faculty,” his message. He emphasized that every activity carried out must bring benefits to other people, in line with the principle: the best human being is the one who is most beneficial to humans.

Creatifah supervisor, Sukasih Nur, S.Sos.I., MIKom., tells the background to the formation of this institution. Initially, Creative FAH was only a small team focused on managing Instagram and TikTok faculties under the Website Team structure. “Due to lack of members, this team is not as active as it is now. Thank God, over time, Creative FAH developed into an autonomous institution,” he said.

The idea to form Creatifah began with discussions between Sukasih and Hilya Maylaffayza, who was previously active in media management at Ma'had UIN. After receiving approval from the Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, Creatifah was officially formed and began recruiting members on a large scale via social media. Now, Creatifah brings together various divisions, from Websites, Videography, Graphic Design, Public Relations, to Copywriting.

Recognition of Creatifah's performance does not take long. At the Leadership Meeting, Creatifah was awarded the title "The Best Informative Unit". Another coach, Hendra, ST, M.Pd., expressed his pride in this achievement. “This victory shocked the entire academic community. Although other faculties have more sophisticated equipment, FAH is able to be the best at conveying information,” he said.

One of Creatifah's flagship programs is “Mutiara Ramadhan from FAH,” which displays live broadcasts with UIN Professors. This program was even a pioneer, preceding similar activities organized by the central UIN Public Relations.

Concluding the event, the coaches stressed the importance of maintaining internal solidarity. “This achievement should not make us proud. On the contrary, it must be a motivation to continue working better," said Hendra.

Creatifah is expected to be the driving force in introducing FAH UIN Jakarta to the wider community through various digital platforms, as well as being a forum for developing student skills in the creative field.
