South Tangerang, FAH Online News – The Student Association of the Islamic History and Civilization (SPI) Study Program (HMPS SPI) at the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, paid an official visit to the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of South Tangerang City on Thursday (July 9, 2026). Held at the BNN South Tangerang Office, the visit aimed to introduce HMPS SPI to government institutions while establishing sustainable institutional partnerships.

The delegation was led by Thoriq Aziz Dawaisla, President of HMPS SPI, accompanied by members of the Executive Board (BPH) and the Student Affairs Department of HMPS SPI. The delegation was warmly received by Satrya Ika Putra, S.H., M.H., Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of South Tangerang City.

During an interview, Thoriq Aziz Dawaisla explained that the visit was intended to initiate cooperation between the two institutions and establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that would continue to benefit future HMPS SPI administrations.

"Through this visit, we hope to establish an MoU between both parties. One of the key outcomes expected by BNN South Tangerang is the formation of a student-based anti-narcotics task force. This collaboration marks the beginning of a long-term partnership that we hope will continue through future HMPS SPI leadership periods," he stated.

The visit marked HMPS SPI's initial effort to introduce its organizational programs while fostering a positive relationship with the National Narcotics Agency.

Through this collaboration, HMPS SPI hopes to continue building partnerships with various government institutions in order to broaden students' knowledge, encourage civic engagement, and provide valuable learning opportunities for students of the Islamic History and Civilization Study Program at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
